The Chamber Choir of Europe which was founded by Nicol Matt, is made up of professional singers from throughout the continent who are embarking on a solo career or are established members of national and international radio choirs, and who meet regularly for a concentrated series of rehearsals and concerts, including festivals.

Their many outstanding recordings, awards (06-2011, Diapason d’Or for the Bach motets with Nicol Matt) and radio broadcasts (03-2011, BR recording “VOCAbuLarieS” in the Munich Philharmonic Concert Hall with Bobby McFerrin and Roger Treece) reflect the Choir’s supreme quality, whether performing as an ensemble or as solo artists, with or without orchestral accompaniment.

The Chamber Choir of Europe is solely financed by fees. The choir has been invited to perform at festivals all over Europe such as Gustav Mahler Music Weeks in Toblach, the European Church Music Festival in Schwäbisch Gmünd, the Autumnal Music Days in Bad Urach, the Handel Festival in Karlsruhe and the Music Festival in the Wine region of Southern Germany.

To sustain the ensemble's high quality and ongoing development the choir needs solid financial support.

Members are regularly informed about the Chamber Choir’s activities, and of course by enjoying our concerts and CD recordings.
